Rio - Deepa Malik Won Silver Medal For India At Rio 2016 Paralympics In Shotput. 
  1. She got various medals in participation with many adventurous sports. She is in association with Himalayan Motorsports Association. Also with Federation of Motor Sports of India. 
  2. She is currently supported by Gosports Foundation. 
  3. Today she won silver medal in shotput which is currently ongoing world event paralympics at Rio, Brazil.
  4. She is first women to win medal at paralympics for India. 
  5. With this medal, India won third medal at Rio Paralympics, 2016.
  6. Today in shotput she threw her personal best of 4.6m  in her sixth and final attempt. Fathema nedham is person who won gold by threwing 4.76m and Dimitra korokida threw 4.28m to win bronze.
